Re: What is your most significant problem with the EVO 3D?
Low speaker volume and green tint on some pics.. other than that I'm loving the phone still. I'm hoping a future update will bump speaker volume too.

Re: What is your most significant problem with the EVO 3D?
I can live with many of the glitches I've encountered on this phone but the garbled sound quality and the signal lock issues are enough to sour any good thoughts I have about this phone. I hear some people are using a work around on the sound quality but that not all towers will work if you change the vocoder or codec.

Re: What is your most significant problem with the EVO 3D?
The problems I'm having are call quality, most of the time the person on other end is garbled or choppy, The icons of apps on sd card after battery change or restart changing to generic android icon and the worst problem for me is the GPS. It loses the signal frequently and it re routes every few minutes and it shows me at another location . I am on second phone and it has same problems. The only thing Sprint wants to do is hard reset and HTC wants me to send them the phone. I wish I had my EVO 4G back.

The dropped calls is most likely either a design defect in the hardware (which probably couldn't be fixed by a firmware update) or it is that the unit is constantly searching for a stronger signal but dropping the call to reconnect to a tower it already was connected to. |
