Anyone buy a diamond without contract extention?
So I am seriously considering buying the Diamond straight up, the mogul causes me nothing but headaches. However, its a lot of money. I'm interested to see what others have paid for just the phone and if the sprint store gave you any discounts or mail in rebates, etc.

I am elligable for the 1 year upgrade (75.00) but will I still get the instant savings or mail in rebate if I sign a new contract?

let me know what you guys think I should do

I bought one off of ebay for $438 (included shipping). I sold my BB Pearl for $220 (had some accessories and an extended battery).

I don't think I am eligible for the rebate since I didn't buy it from Sprint. You may have that option even if you are currently signed up for a contract.

yeah I emailed ecare and they said they would give me a 75 discount which makes it 150 off 549 which makes the phone still 400 which is still a lot for a cell phone, I really wasnt looking to spend more than 300, should I email back and try for something better?

anyone else have any better luck?

if you have total protection Plan for your phone, you can "upgrade" (meaning, you have issues with your current smartphone, Which you do) for the same...they just offered me the diamond last week...but waiting for the Pro...
BTW, no contract extensions when using TPP. (in case you did not know)
