New Kitchen OEM Utility

Hello everyone -

Since the new kitchen is out, I wrote an little .NET 2.0 app to help ease the effort of creating OEM package.

EDIT:

Yoohooo...sup guys here it is.

I haven't test with actual ROM yet but did a quick test and seems to function ok.

Please test it out and report any bugs you find.

Thanks and enjoy.

OVERVIEW: (REQUIRES .NET 2.0)

This utility will help you create the followings:

1. DSM file
2. RGU with content if you paste it in
3. Create shortcuts on your EXE you want
4. Create the initflashfiles.txt with the structure that your map your shortcuts to.
5. Option.xml file

So basically you just need to extract the files to a folder and point to it, and with few mouse clicks it should prepare your OEM with all the files needed to build your OEM.

EDIT: New version OEM R4 Fixes

1. Missing \Windows in initflashfiles.txt for copying shortcuts
2. Default the browse folder to Desktop
3. List all files in OEM folder
4. Encoding .lnk files with system default instead of Unicode.
4. Added multiselect on shortcut mappings for all files. (note: when selecting multiple files to map, names will be default to the original filename).

This is great, nice work. Should speed up the OEM building process and make it easier for the noobs.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think this actually made the OEM "meat" for you--just the skeleton .

correct. All it will do is quickly setup a new OEM shell for you. Basically it just saves the time of creating the files in certain formats, getting a UUID, etc.
