Apache WM6 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.1908 (Build 18508.0.7.0) 071107_1 Bugs/Patches

This is the bug collection thread for the Apache WM6 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.1908 (Build 18508.0.7.0) 071107_1. I'll gather bugs into this first message, so folks don't need to poke all over to find them. Please note that this thread is for bugs occurring in the ROMs produced via the kitchen, the file contents of it's OEM packages, or problems with their configuration or interaction. Bugs related to BuildOS,the tool used to compile/flash the ROM images, should be posted to it's bug thread.

* PimBackup 2.5 and HTC Home Incompatible?

I can only give you one data point - it works fine w/o HTC Home (I hates that HTC Home thing, and used PimBackup burned in rom to successfully restore my pre-flash backup without a hitch)

i have a request. is it possible to create a few fields in the kitchen where we can put our contact info along with note (to be baked in) so that we dont have to re-enter each time we hard reset? this would surely make theft recovery easier.

Yes. Check out Tiermann's OEMizer (stickied in the parent forum to this one).

Here are the updated oems of slide to lock and quickmenu. Quickmenu has my resize fix in it from xdev.

SPB Pocket Plus 4.0.1 is in the works. Setup.dll Add's almost 600 reg entry's. Sifting through them and changing them will take a little while.
Have it working. except for the smart scrolling. Might have missed a reg entry.

Fixed images in Slide2Unlock thanks to
schettj.
Also fixed missing send/end button image in slide2unlock screen.
(File wasn't being renamed)

I've been using the heck out of QuickMenu lately

Checking out the changes now.

Edit: Both submitted for next release of PPCGeeks_OEM. Thanks KidGixxer.
That should take care of...
-Shortcut for QuickMenu
-Updated Slide2Unlock

I've had trouble restoring my backed up text messages (using PPCPimBackup). I run the restore, and it says that it imported 0 messages (when I have 185). In the end, it's not a big deal, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

EDIT: I just figured out why it doesn't work. PPCPimBackup has trouble restoring MMS messages (which I didn't know). I just un-checked that portion of the restore and it went through fine. False Alarm (sorta)!

Can you provide a "Apache_Helmi_WM6 Selections.txt" file for the configuration that exhibits the issue so that we can confirm what is happening?
