Running with WP7, music and app @ same time?

I LOVE this new running app I found to track my progress, works great!

I want to listen to music and use the app @ the same time, but I have heard that the music will begin to pause/skip, then shut down both music and running app? Is there a way to stop the phone signal, but keep the GPS signal and listen to music while running?

Who runs with their WP7?

In order to get true multitasking, you'll have to wait for the Mango update coming this fall (or take your chances with the beta). Although it's possible to have music playing, third party apps are limited, so that's what probably compromises the other app.

I haven't really tried it yet, but Endomondo has a music button. So you could load up your music/playlist in Zune, start it, then go into Endomondo and if it stops you click on that music button to get it to play the current playlist.

Im less worried about my music stopping mid run, than I am losing my tracking of my run. Would rather have my distance and time tracked than hear cool tunes.
