Running with WP7, music and app @ same time?

I LOVE this new running app I found to track my progress, works great!

I want to listen to music and use the app @ the same time, but I have heard that the music will begin to pause/skip, then shut down both music and running app? Is there a way to stop the phone signal, but keep the GPS signal and listen to music while running?

Who runs with their WP7?
