Re: Exchange 2007 ActiveSync issues
I got my phone to sync just fine, but I have an issue trying to get multiple Exchange accounts on my EVO, it worked on my Pre. I figured it was a Windows issue only and that the Linux based OS wouldn't have that limitation. Any work arounds or solutions?

Re: Exchange 2007 ActiveSync issues
my exchange server synched fine... contracts... calendar...... email. have you synched email before successfully? My Exchange server is 2007 SP1 and is enabled for Exchange Activesync. Most of the problems I have seen revolve around not referencing the domain name or not referencing the right server name. It looks like you should enter the cluster name when you really need to enter the name of the webmail server.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.1-update1; en-us; Sprint APA9292KT Build/ERE27) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/530.17)
I had the same issue with the wife's EVO. Worked on it for 4 hours. Here is what finally worked. Hard reset phone Set up exchange FIRST...before anything else. Especially Google mail. I know sounds odd, but I verified this behavior 3 times. On my EVO, this was not necessary, worked fine. YMMV |

I also manage my own Exchange Server and I had the exact same problem, here's what I did to get the issue resolved. 1 - Go into Exchange Management Console, locate your Exchange account, then go to Mobile properties. Remove any phone entries there. 2 - Run ADSIEDIT.msc (Note: You can download from microsoft.com and/or search on the Internet), Go into Users -> Locate your Account, then goto -> ExchangeActiveSync and remove any remaining Active sync entries there. Now go back to your EVO and re-attempt to sync again and you should be able to sync without further issue Good luck ![]() |

Re: Exchange 2007 ActiveSync issues
First thing;
Thanks for all the posts. This helped me to know that there must be an issue with my Exchange server. Upon further review I discovered that the other PPC device that I thought was syncing was not. Then I started troubleshooting the issue. So, right now I have blown away exchange and started from scratch. I know that this is not the most elligant solution but after I installed Forefront and then uninstalled it I think I hosed my Exchange installation. Second, I am not sure why this thread got moved from the Evo forum as I was specifically asking a question related to the Evo. Oh, well. I will let you know how I fair with this one. |

Re: Exchange 2007 ActiveSync issues
if you are still having problems then i suggest trying a simpler password with out special characters.
