Plain Jane 6.1 Rom?

Is there a plain and clean 6.1 Rom without TF or opera or anything else extra? Just the stock green theme install?

hey man, u can try using previous JD roms if u can find links as they are usually stock and bone.

caulkin has a very good clean rom as well, grab it here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ighlight=clean

its fast and does what u need =) and best of all 6.1 is there and stable

This question has been asked quite a bit (twice by myself), just look through some of the older posts.

Yes there are "clean" roms, JD, Silent, Joker all have them, but I've found them lacking the basic battery / scrolling / menu tweaks that really help make WM6 shine above the stock.

Sorry I dont have links for you, as this post is largely opinion and I'm currently at work and cant search for you, but give Silence Rom 9 a shot as after disabling TF3D it is very stripped down, yet has the basic tweaks I previously mentioned.

I've gone the 'clean rom' route and unfortunately been quite disappointed.

its really a matter of choice, if you find that roms are loaded with stuff you dont need and you could use the extra space for your own programs then it is definetly good to go for clean roms

also, most clean roms include User Custimzations so you can install ur own stuff like it was a part of the rom.

for a clean ROM...some of Y4J's older ROM's are as clean as they get. There were a couple of vers. that comes WITHOUT Opera installed. TF3D is standard...you could just disable it at the today settings screen.

Yea, I would say chelk out boreds ROM if you want a clean ROM.
I have a series up but they are not "clean" like you want.

I do however plan on doing a clean series this week.

If you had to pick what would you want to see go and stay?

i have a clean build in mine. atm the verizon is posted sprint and other should be posted soon as i get them tested more. its the silver version.

Off topic but you should use a generic carrier. It saved me so much time and I got hte one from Calcu';s kitchen. Modded it for my kitchen. Tweaked it and I am so much happier to produce one single ROM>

Just a thought but it made me alot happier ;c)

Generic OEM from Calc's works well Scrosler? I haven't been ambitious enough to try that one yet. I customized the Sprint Carrier OEM and left it at that.
