So how do we battery pull?

Being that we don't have a battery to conveniently (or unconveniently) pull to reset the phone...

Are we stuck holding the power button and hoping it restarts?

What's the equivalent of doing so?

Didn't see anything too promising. I've got a support contact into HTC. They must be scratching their heads wondering what kind of a super geek they have encountered!

Holding power button would do the trick more than likely. Not thinking we'll need it much though.

I read somewhere to hold the power button for 10 secs.

also, anyone watch the One S teardown? the battery doesn't appear to be too hard to remove...

I will have to check it. So far, the battery life seems to be considerably better than my EVO 4g, but it is really too early to tell.

Try holding both volume keys and power. See if it will reset.

While we want the phone to be incredibly stable for you, in the event that it misbehaves we can reset the connection to your battery by holding down the power button for about 30-45 seconds. This would clear out any cobwebs that might have confused your phone and let you boot up fresh.
