GOOD app not working due to rooted - Help URGENT

Hi, I have FRX07.1 and installed "GOOD for Enterprise", with the pin from my IT dept, went via all the way, and stopped working towards the end "Acct Disabled - GOOD was not in compliance and has been wiped and disabled, Contact your IT admin"

I contacted my IT dept, they said "If you performed a root (process of unlocking the device's operating system to allow access to unauthorized software) on your device, you will not be able to use that device for the Android service."

IT dept not know that this is how I got Android on my TouchPro2; so they asked me to take it to my service provider and have them look at the phone because it keeps showing up in Good as rooted. As there is nothing IT can do until I take it to them of fix what Good sees as rooted.

Please assist; as I need to get GOOD working on my phone. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to sync Exchange in WinMo.

I don't know how to 'unroot' our devices (just talked to some people online, seems if you remount rootfs as ro...?) I only know how to disable the SU prompt for root. You might need to remove the SU app, perhaps that's what Good is looking for? Who knows, you'll have to experiment with this.

You don't have a native Android device mate... They probably won't support you at all.

Thanks, Arrrghhh, my company doesn't support Exchange at-all, tried to get it.

How do I disable or remove SU safely?

I really need to get GOOD working on this phone, or I have to get new Android phone (which is not the problem), Sprint will require me to change the Grandfather Plan, right now I pay only $88 for 4 phones with data, text, 1500 shared mins, call home free, 6 pm nights/weekends, etc.

Well, try it. That's all I can say... Since my company doesn't support Android (I just bought an iPhone, vomit) I didn't really have a choice.

Good luck.

Either by force, or perhaps Titanium will do it. Never tried myself.
