might be either the ROM you are running or the fact your qvga and not VGA.

Tsowen, Im still getting the same problem as the taskbar before the latest one, once my phone receives data, like updating weather, the blue globe in the back of the signal bars is replaced by the green active sync icon and it stays there for the remainder of the time, unless I turn data connect off.

I will take a look at this when I get the chance. I just finished up a huge custom job for my ROM chef that I'm particularly proud of, but is has been about 10 days of solid work in every spare moment I had, so I am a little burnt out, and I have a couple more things I've got ahead of this, but I promise I will look at them to convert.

FYI, those icons will be exclusive the Bear-Bonz ROM for a couple of weeks before they are released to the general public. So this is just a little teaser to whet your appetite...
