i'm trying from the beginning now, i HR the phone and first thing i wanted to do is copy all dll's that i need but when i copy them with TC on storage card they are not there, why?? also i sync with pc and try copy them from pc using explore from activesync but i get acess denied.help please.

I had problems with this too and realized I had to do a copy and paste, "copy to" doesn't work.

Well, I have tried that. I installed a taskbar from tsowen, this appears to work just fine. Pulled the HTCVolumeControl.dll back out. unsigned it, used reshack to extract the images. Used Imageforge to mod the images, reshack to move the images back into the dll. Ran msigner on the dll. On my Imagio I renamed the dll, soft reset then moved my dll into Windows, soft reset, power off..................

When the imagio starts up I do not have my images or tsowens for the volume. It reverts to the stock images.

I have noticed that if I try this with a stock dll from my imagio when I unsign the file the file size does not decrease. If I continue the process with this file I get the same results.

Maybe I need to wait for cmonex and conflipper, then dump the VZ garbage.

is there a taskbar available w/ mms icon customized in it...im using TSOWEN TASKBAR 6v3.3 on MR 1.20.10 but the MMS icon is the plan lame white 1...i recall having a very good looking icon on my TP using TSOWEN TASKBAR 6v2(maybe it was that version of ARCSOFT MMS i was using?) thanks 4 the help in advance....TSOWEN love the work been using ur taskbars since my TP and now on my TP2...keep it up...

Jason25, If this was directed to me, I have all of the tools as laid out by tsowen and others, I have checked and rechecked my process and tools. My previous phone was an Elf where I was able to mod the dll's to my satisfaction.

I also use romextractor to get the dll's off the phone.

Thanks,but all I get is:
Error: The certificate used for signing has expired!

I never had this problem before,so I thiught the tool itself expired?

I encountered this with msigner. The original certs expired on 12/31/2009. There is an updated msigner out there, I cant remember where I found it though. I think I Googled.
