[QVGA][VGA][WVGA] My 6.5 Themes (requests welcome) - Page 6

strra....if you don't mind me asking. What are you using to create these themes and make these edits?

Part of me is jealous, and the other part wants to learn. What was the issue with the smoke theme (its gorgeous by the way....)

just install this and change your theme to "black_smoke2" and it should do the trick

This works beautifully. Can you share the trick? Why does cabbing this solve the problem? Why won't it work simply using a .tsk file?

well, for my themes, i mistakenly assumed that everyone with 6.5 installed would have all the default themes installed also, so i leeched some of the files from the default themes.... my guess is that meatgel doesn't have the default themes installed with his rom, so the cab file just adds those files...
as for programs i use, i use photoshop for the wallpapers and menus, i use makev3 to make the theme file, and i use wince cab manager to make cabs

that's the default wm6.5 call screen. you'll get it on a rom without the htc addons (like copper)

Oh well, its not on the ROM I'm using...I'm using Calkulins. Wonder if its something I could set up myself?

If you use AdvanceConfig you can enable/disable rhe installed dialer skin that Caulkin uses. When you disable the phone skin it will defualt to the windows dialer and cool slide 2 answer screen

I'm trying to customize my theme by changing as many icons as I can. I've used cHome Editor to change the path of the icons with all of my Titanium plugins. I have also changed all of the Start_Icon_*.png files I could find in the Windows directory to make my Start Menu to look the way I want, mostly. I want to change the icons for the programs I have installed myself though.

I tried creating Start_Icon_S2P.png for S2P, for example, but that doesn't change the icon for S2P in the start menu.

I've looked at all the .cpr files and didn't see anything like a list of .exes to .pngs that I could alter. Has anyone been able to figure this out?
