backup text messaging

Hi. I spilled coffee on my 700WX and I will be getting a replacement 700WX sometime soon. How do I backup the text messaging database so I can restore it to the replacement 700WX? Thanks.

simple anwser. it cannot be done. you cannot be done the manufactures use a cinco micro chip data base with pre-encypted embedded software. no one could hack and remove the messages. You can only forward the message out to another handset. Thats assuming that ur pda is fully functional after the liquid damage

Unless you are using the Palm threaded SMS app. But if you didn't have it and installed it it will not do anything for you now.

I have been looking for the answer to the same question all day and couldn't find an answer until i stumbled upon this:

I backed up my text's this morning, hard reset, and then restored them and it worked like a charm.

I used sprite backup and spb backup and my text msgs were restored. just try it.
