Need help with sharing GPS to PC
Hello all,
This is my first post, and I was wondering if there was any way one could go about sharing the GPS signal from their phone over a USB connection. The ultimate goal of this action would be to get my coordinates in real time onto my laptop screen in some software like Google Earth or anything comparable.
This would make navigation much easier, because when I'm in the car, a small screen is very distracting to try and see. This is even more true when I'm in an unfamiliar area.
I'm running Windows Mobile 6.5 on an HTC Vogue, and my computer is running Windows 7.
Could you please inform me of a way to do this? I would greatly appreciate any information.
Thank you so much in advance,
James
P.S. I've tried GPSProxy and all I get is an error about the Garmin protocol not being opened.
