Re: Opera Mobile 10 Beta Released 11/17 CAB/OEM
Speaking of Opera/Internet browsing, I don't want to hi-jack this thread by any means - but from the first day of out of the box (Verizon) my TP2 hasn't been able to properly tether to my laptop using the usual built-in factory program for ICS from cell phone to laptop. I get an error code every single time that says "End Data Call First," even though I am not on any type of 'data call' (?) Has anyone else run into this problem or can point me in the right direction? All I've been able to use is WMwifiRouter's USB to PC function to connect to the net on my laptop

Re: Opera Mobile 10 Beta Released 11/17 CAB/OEM
Does any one have issue with Opera 10 beta 2 that the text wrap does work quite well? For example PPCGeeks forum, all text wrap half way instead of expand all the way and wrap around when it reach the end.

Opera does that so that when you zoom in the text doesn't run off the right or left edge of your screen. You only have to move up and down to read it.

Opera 9.5 expand the text and contrast to fit the screen when you zoom in and out though. Some how they didn't carry this nice feature over opera 10.

Re: Opera Mobile 10 Beta Released 11/17 CAB/OEM
I know this is an Opera thread, and Opera is what I use ALL the time, except for last night... for the first time, Opera wasn't making a good connection for some inexplicable reason, and I went to the internet folder of my MightyROM (Touch Pro 2) and selected IE...
I was expected another embarassing and aggravating time trying to use this poor outdated mobile web-browser... but I was VERY IMPRESSED; I went to IMDB to look up some movies and actors, and it worked flawlessly and even rendered pages full screen just as they would appear on a desktop browser. Has anyone used this included explorer in the MightyROM (Dec 6 release)? Anyway, I love Opera, but I wanted to make a note of my experience, thought it was worth discussion - I don't know if Mike uses some special Explorer Browser I didn't know about, but it was fast and very fluid. |
