Is there a program to combine multiple .CAB files?

This would help me so much because I flash a lot and want to do it all in one shot.

Re: Is there a program to combine multiple .CAB files?

IMHO UC or SASHIMI are much more flexible solutions for auto-installing multiple cabs.
If you really want to merge all your cabs, I guess you could do this with WinCe CAB Manager.

Sashimi looked a bit complicated (as it does many other things). What is UC or WinCE CAB Manager? Got a link?

sashimi isn't complicated at all. pretty much all you do is install it on your sd card, then put all your .cab files in one folder

UC: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366337
WinCE CAB Manager: http://www.ocpsoftware.com/products.php?nm=cecabmgr&pd=
SASHIMI: http://www.winmo-experts.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4

I second that SASHIMI is not that complicated to use.

Save yourself some heartache and take 10 mins to learn how sashimi works... it will be the BEST 10 mins you put toward learning how to tweak your phone!

good advice. i've been too lazy to try it, but now that i'm constantly flashing, i need something like it. i'm gonna look it over.

just to make sure, is it fully compatible with wm 6.5 and the touch pro2? don't want to run into any crazy errors. thanks!

Re: Is there a program to combine multiple .CAB files?

I dont have a TP2 i'm still on a diamond but as for using it on 6.5 i can confirm it runs perfectly. I'd advise searching youtube for some of the video tutorials for sashimi, they're really short and break down all of the features very simply. I PROMISE it's easier than you think it will be.

Re: Is there a program to combine multiple .CAB files?

There's a great thread over in the TP1 section which has videos, how toos and even information on how to backup certain application settings... and yes SASHIMI should work on the TP2 no problem...
