TellMe!!!

Saw this over in the TP2 thread and thought I would share... I know people have been anticipating it... I have yet to try but supposedly speech to text is working...

Read more and download here...
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=92493

Give thanks to pixlewix for snagging this off a Sprint store demo Intrepid... Who would have thought it would be that easy...

Update:
It's been reported in other threads that installing Voice Command has corrected the issues of not working for many users...

Those having problems, if you don't already have, try install MS Voice Command...

Re: TellMe!!!

Thanks for the scoop, but unfortunately it doesnt work on my touch pro running dcd 2.16 rom. It hangs at 87% then quits. Thanks for posting though, maybe it'll get sorted out, or ill try a new rom.

Re: TellMe!!!

It works for me on my own ROM with Calks VK. Winmo 6.5 21864

I do have a Diamond though not a Pro...if that matters.

Very helpful, thank you. I love dcd's rom, but i so wanna use this app. Seeing as there's no real release date for tellme, i dont know if i can hold out any longer knowing i may get it working on a different rom.

Re: TellMe!!!

This works marvelously on my Omnia i910 using Evidence's "All In" v 7 Rom based on WM 6.5 Build 23081. No problems with touch screen. Accurately transcribed text message on first try, recognized some of the tougher to pronounce names in my phone book right off. Basically everything I had expected from this software based on the rumblings around here and at Modaco, only with less of a learning curve. The setup program closed out at around 80%, however it worked fine from the icon it put into the Start Menu.
