Looking for music software that bookmarks your current position automatically...

Hey gang,
I know many people have their favorite music player. I'm looking for a WinMo audio player that has the best functionality using audio bookmarks.

This would come in very handy for 'books on mp3' that have very large files and where it is desirable to remember your last position within that file.

Here are the features in decreasing priority:
1.) The program autosaves your current playlist and position.
2.) You can manually do the above
3.) The program autosaves your place within a file and unfortunately not the whole playlist.
4.) You can manually save your place within the current file.

I've tried pocket music which I think just does #4 above.

Thanks for any help. It really drives me crazy when I'm in the middle of a file and then my phone restarts which at least in windows Media Player clears the 'now playing' list so I don't even know what file I was on let alone what position within that file.

Nitrogen is the way to go. I listen to audiobooks everyday, and its great that it will save your last posistion. its awesome and free, check it out

theres a good thread about nitrogen here on ppcgeeks, and i believe it has the cab file. Best music/audiobook player for WM in my opinion.

thx for the response. So it doesn't have a bookmark feature but it just remembers your 'now playing' list and position even if you restart your phone? That's a start in the right direction... I just downloaded the trial for Pocket Player which claims some bookmarking features. Will check it out.

Dont think it has a bookmark feature, but the setting to save your last posistion does survive softresets, which is nice. the available skins for nitrogen is also amazing. I had pocket player too, but uninstalled after a few days of using nitrogen.

Re: Looking for music software that bookmarks your current position automatically...

So I've used Nitrogen for a while. It's almost there. There seems to be some glitchiness which makes it not always remember my position correctly. Also sometimes I hit play and it doesn't play until I exit the program and reload it. Anyone have any other favorite proggies that can remember your last known position within a playlist?
