Re: Turn Your PPC into a Tablet PC

The only compatible OS for PPCs (with emulation) is win97/98. And that is not great with touch screens

HOWEVER, what about XPE (XP embedded)

Re: Turn Your PPC into a Tablet PC

A linux distribution might work, aside from the fact that it would have to be tailored specifically for each individual device (you've no doubt noticed the trouble they're having putting android on the diamond without gimptastic functionality) and all the drivers would have to be reverse engineered from windows. Windows 98 isn't even worth the trouble, and xp imbedded could possibly be feasable, but you might as well run a vnc to your home computer.

Re: Turn Your PPC into a Tablet PC

you would need an emulator for one of the CPU architectures supported by windows (x86, AMD, etc.).

Re: Turn Your PPC into a Tablet PC

I would like to see Windows 98/2000 or XP run on my Titan in fair speed with enough space to run office and a way to be able to make/recieve calls.

but, if you want it to be a tablet PC, it needs to be XP or higher.
