beam with wifi?

as you can read from the title i am looking for a way to beam (obex transfer/push) files from my phone (diamond) through the good'ol wifi. i read m$ removed the feature but with such smart people out there i know its possible to control the wifi chip (ie: wifirouter!)

anyways so i'd like to adhoc transfer files to a 'psp' or pda or comp, etc

...
