im having the same problem with 3.5 that i had with 3.0 (which is preference based BTW) is that i LOVE everything it does and replaces on the WM OS like the start menu, sms, email 3d view, contacts, agenta etc. etc. etc. but i cant seem to find a homescreen setup thats feels rite for me..... i may need more widgets styles...

Try Mskip's Ultimate add-on at xda-developers. It makes the homescreens COMPLETELY customizable. You can have it your way and only have those items on your homescreen(s) that you like.
