expecting too much? changes are just where they should be. the old widgets have different variants of each and they work better. you have a bunch of new widgets. twitter, facebook integration. u can add backgrounds for shortcuts to make them look cleaner... better calendar options... i hated having a giant calendar.. now we can choose to have 1 week displayed, so it doesnt hot all the space on the screen.. 3d messaging... everything is managed easier now. in edit mode you can move widgets from page to page without having to exit edit mode... u couldnt even switch pages while in exit mode before. i dont know why people are complaining about the trash can. that's great for edit mode.. easily get rid of stuff. who wants to top icons and then tap again to remove when u can just drag them out. finally they let us change options like deciding how many lifestyles/pro screens we want without having to edit the registry.
i dunno.. maybe you just missed these changes...
or you're waiting for ms 4.0...

my only complaints are the bugs they still haven't fixed from the old one and also the bt widget and opera bugs. not sure why it takes up so much memory either, but i guess i have enough to spare.

im having the same problem with 3.5 that i had with 3.0 (which is preference based BTW) is that i LOVE everything it does and replaces on the WM OS like the start menu, sms, email 3d view, contacts, agenta etc. etc. etc. but i cant seem to find a homescreen setup thats feels rite for me..... i may need more widgets styles...

Try Mskip's Ultimate add-on at xda-developers. It makes the homescreens COMPLETELY customizable. You can have it your way and only have those items on your homescreen(s) that you like.

My ringers are all messed up! Anybody have any problems with custom ring tones with 3.5?

Heres the deal...I have lots of custom mp3 files for contacts. They have been working fine...now, they just quit...they are all showing correct in both the "WM contacts", and MS "set ringtone"...but only the default ringtone that is set under today, settings, notification plays???

Anybody have a clue why? I have even done a Sprite restore from a couple days ago...same issue!!

I am ready to toss out MS...but I really like it! BUT I keep having problems.

I am all stock ROM wise...HELP!

unless the back up was done on this ROM, i wouldnt restore it. I havent messed with any custom ring tone sbut will 2nyt just to try. I dont expect any prob . Check your players and see if there is any file asociation conflict...MS may not be working properly for you now but you can get it square, I have some minor issues with it like not displaying the curent temp(am using another weather app anyway),....overall all good.
