Thanks!
Same with my Omnia. No 3-d acceleration option in settings. Is that due to the Omnia not having hardware required so they didn't enable the option?

Edit: From SPB's forum:

Hello and welcome to the forum!

3D acceleration is not supported by Mobile Shell for Samsung Omnia devices.

That's too bad. It's probably not mission-critical, but it would be fun to have that ability. Wonder if there's a hack.....

In that thread are screenshots with and without acceleration and the difference is very subtle. When the carousel is shown, 3-d lets you see the backs of the panels on the other side. http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27620

I'm not really experience much of a lag without it but!

The OP was asking about the Omnia II also not having the option. There appears to already be new dll giving the option to to the O2 but I'm assuming ONLY the O2. This, of course, only serves to make me jealous that Verizon isn't shipping the O2 yet.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Pretty neat, but it's a LOT of junk. I'll have to work at slimming it down so navigation is faster. The 3d messaging app is pretty, but without threaded SMS it's worthless IMO. I do not want to flip through every message to piece together a conversation.

I'm going to keep using through the trial before I make a decision.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

I upgraded from 3.0 to 3.5. At first I thought that it had failed, as everyting looked pretty much the same. Then when I dug in a bit, I saw the new widgets and such. I do not find a big difference between the two, it's a .1 or .2 upgrade at most, in my opinion.

I disagree. Changes seem significant to me.
