Problems with Today Screen Items

I have recently had 2 items disappear from my Today Screen, namely: Weather Panel and the Resco Indicator and Program Bar. I checked my Settings>Today>Items on the off chance that I might have accidentally unchecked them, but they are not there at all. As far as I know the both programs are in their respective folders and they still show on my list of downloaded programs in the "Remove Programs" function. I do routine maintenance and cleanup of cache and unnecessary files on my device. I am afraid I might have deleted something that is causing this but have no idea what it is.
Of course I can always delete the programs and re-download them, which might solve the problem, but would prefer to find the cause first.
Any help would be appreciated.

How many today plugins are installed on your device? There is a finite limit usable by the OS (not sure the number) and sometimes when I exceed it I "lose" installed plugins.

If you have a lot, try ininstalling a couple and see if it helps.

My Hermes100 (aka at&t 8525) has a max of 7 with WM5 default at&t rom, To get the ones I wanted I had to uncheck a few in the settings, today, Items tab.
