Outlook and appointments

When synchronising my PDA with outlook all Outlook appointments older than 6 months are deleted.
To prevent the pda from overloading it’s memory it’s set to sync only 6 months.
BUT… When set to six months it also deletes the Outlook appointments older then six months..

How can I keep the Outlook appointments for ever? Leaving the pda on synchronising only 6 months or a jear?

Outlook on your desktop might be auto archiving your appointments older than 6 months. It usually puts it in a new PST file called Archive.
