Embed image signature line in Pocket Outlook?

Okay, I'm hopefully going to get an answer from someone who has successfully done this before.

I'm trying to put a web-hosted image as my signature in Outlook. I have an email account (pop) setup on the device, and have tried several ways and nothing works.

Here's what I've tried so far, and it never displays as anything but a link to the recipient.

http://www.mydomain.com/myimage

and

<img>http://www.mydomain.com/myimage</img>

Either way I go, it still doesn't display the image to the other person, only the link, and in the second format I tried it shows the HTML tags with the link between them. What am I doing wrong? Or can this even be done with Pocket Outlook?

Re: Embed image signature line in Pocket Outlook?

I clicked the link, but I got a 404 page not found from the site it self. So maybe it has to do with the site not allowing it, just a guess on my part.

Moved to software forum for better exposure!

Re: Embed image signature line in Pocket Outlook?

Not quite what you are looking for, but along the same lines. This allows for digital signature in Outlook with added ActiveX control. More intended for actual signatures though, not images.

Electronic Signature
Customer electronic signature capture is included as an add on to the mobile module of Dispatched - work order software. When a service technician has completed a work order, the customer can electronically sign the work order on a mobile device. The completed service ticket can then be printed for the customer or even emailed to the customer. Using the email option, your complete service operation could be paperless. Once the customer has signed, the entire work order image is captured and sent back to the office for later viewing and record keeping.

The WebSignature Control PocketPC installation

To use the WebSignature control in Pocket IE you have to install the corresponding ActiveX first. After ActiveX has been installed click the Back button to return to previous page.
Please, click the following URL to download installation package. NOTE. Do not drop "Open file after download" check box in appeared "Download" message box.

WebSignature control (ARMV4) [~92Kb]

Service technicians can print a completed work order with the customer's signature, customer information, work performed, pricing, parts used and any other information. Click here to see a sample completed work order:

Sample Completed Work Order

With Dispatched, you have the option of capturing a digital or electronic signature of your customer on the work order.
Tablet pc's running Windows XP - Tablet Edition usually provide the best platform for signature capture. Signature capture is also available for mobile devices running Windows Mobile 5.0 or higher. Most rugged mobile devices such as provided by Symbol Technologies and Intermec will be running Windows Mobile.
These features and more are included in Dispatched Software. Learn more about Dispatched - Work Order and Service Management Software
