When I first got my phone it asked me If i wanted to upgrade to tele nav for gps..so I did, then I went to portland and used it for a day and then it said my trial had ended haha. I dont recall it ever being a trial. So my old gps doesnt work b.c it went to tele nav and now I no longer have a gps navagation deal. What do you guys use, whats free and works awesome??

Re: tele nav

I see you're on sprint. Are you on a simply everything or data plan? If so, it should be free. Otherwise you have to pay per month. Call sprint if you're on a plan that should provide it for free. Check sprint.com.

amazegps is free: http://amazegps.com/index.php?page=h...=en&referrer=6

I use garminXT, but that's $99. It works like the real thing though.

There's also tomtom, copilot8, igo if you're willing to pay.

Welcome to the site by the way... and hit the thanks button if anyone helps you. lateR.

Re: tele nav

Do you still have sprint nav as part of your cell plan? and if you do

I dont think it matters if you have TeleNav as your GPS Software, since TeleNav made the Sprint Navigation software for Sprint and at one point they even told me to go to Telenav and download the latest version when i was having problems with Sprint Nav.

I would call just to make sure.

Yea that happen to me also when I had a upgrade to sprint nav....I called sprint and told them about the expire/trial issue when it showed up..they said to go ahead and select the 9.99 month and continue...and if it did charge my account the 9.99 would be deducted due to the fact I had a data package w/sprint nav included then from that point forward I would not get the expire page every month.

They said it was like a reset thing since I upgraded the software. Well it did work I dont get the expire/trial page every month.
