Moving contacts to sd card

Hi,

I would like to move if possible my contacts to the sd card and have them sync on an ongoing basis for the computer to the sd card for the contact names.

is there any way to move it out of main memory to save space ?

The space you would gain would be so minor it wouldn't be worth it. Afaik though there isn't a program for you to have them on the SD card unless you get a seperate 3rd party contact program that has that feature. I know there is a program or 2 out there that will backup your contacts though and you can have it save the file to your sd card. Can't remember the name though as i dont' have it installed and i'm at work.

PIM Backup. Works great. It creates a single backup file for all of your contacts, and you can use the backup to restore all of your contacts. It says you can schedule a backup and have it run whenever, but I haven't been able to get that working.

You can just copy the pim.vol file over to the SD card for backup purposes but that's about it.

I read on several different sites that doing this almost always corrupts the file. I also tried it on my old Moto Q.
