AcitveSync Toggle Tool
This little free app is for your Desktop PC. Basically, allows you to kill/unkill AS from running (yay!).
Not too much to say. Just run the .exe, choose your options and go. Works like a charm!

Is this worth having..... Doesn't Task manager do this, isn't there like one more step or something? Is there any advantages to using this?

convinience if you dont want to click so many buttons, that is the advantage.....if you dont mind, then just do it ur way :P

You can also just go into connection settings in ActiveSync on the desktop and uncheck 'sync via USB' - which is what I do if I want to charge via USB without syncing.
