I tried that a few ROM flashes back, it is a nice app but for $13 it doesn't really do anything better than a half dozen free apps do..........

CAB download is here:

Definitely the best out there, tried them all and its the only app i could find that cached reasonably sized thumbs and sent large pics to recipients. It has its minor quirks like the weird shadow thing under the pic but i can live with it because it does what i need it to do.

Was a fan of resco until everyone complained they were receiving tiny pics when i sent mms from the program.

Chili just hated my omnia

My two cents! oh, and its free, always a plus!

Re: Photo viewing app?

I liked the one that originally came with my omnia, you could scroll from one image to the next with your finger by just sliding the screen.. didn't have to exit the image, select the next one and open it... I tried a couple of the media album cabs out there but they won't load, the pocket CM one crashes as soon as it starts to open an image, resco is ok, but I want to finger swipe to the next image..

edit..
tried s2v... kinda works, but when I rotate the phone it kicks out of the image and goes back to the file explorer..
tried the HTC album, says it installed, can't find it anywhere.....

edit 2

tried kinoma Free play, does what I want, except it only works in landscape, I can't get it to go in portrait at all.

File Explorer extension can allow preview of images. Here is the XDA site.

Re: Photo viewing app?

i've been using spb imageer for the past few days and its been working pretty well. the cropping part of it isn't so great because its transparent and its hard to see the resolution, but it can edit saturation and resize images fairly well.

Re: Photo viewing app?

I know this is an older thread but why start new 1?

I am looking for a photo viewer to use while using SPB Mobile Shell. I am debating between Imageer which hasn't been updated in 2yrs at $15 and Resco Photo Manager 7.02 new version at $25. Is the diference that much between the 2? And does anyone know of any discount codes for Resco to get the prices a little closer? Thanks in advance for any help.
