Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (; U; ; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061208 Firefox/2.0.0 Opera 9.5)

I still can't get my laptop to see the network. Using SSK 6.1 rom on Verizon TP and vista laptop. Couple questions - Is starting the router supposed to turn on wi-fi on the TP (it doesn't seem to)? And how do I verify in Vista that my laptop is setup to see ad hoc networks? I tried creating a manual connection but it doesn't connect or even show up on the list of available networks. Help! Thanks...

I try to install, and it tells me I don't have sufficient system permissions. Stock rom with GoodThings2Life's TPro2 cleanup .cab installed on top.

I got the same error on my touch diamond at first. Try disabling TouchFlo 3D, soft reset, then install the cab. Your phone should soft reset, then enable touch flo 3d. Worked for me.

When using this software, will your phone still charge while plugged into a wall outlet? I ask because I have read on older phones that Wifi Internet sharing drained the battery faster than the charger could charge the phone.

Will this work on the new Samsung Intrepid? I am looking at picking one up but can not give up this program. I tried to install it on the Sprint Store phone to see if it would work but I ran out of time before I could test it.

I usually have the phone on the charger, but you're right. Sometimes, it does have a challenge keeping up. It's such a great application, so handy ... that I'm going to put up with the inconvenience.
