Nice.

unfortunately in the Sprint TP2, it seems to fubar up the WiFi a bit, namely my Wifi switch doesn't toggle anymore and Wifi just stays on and connected. Weird.

Do you also need to turn on Internet Sharing, before starting up the wifi. I still can't connect to internet. Thanks!

Has anyone tried installing just the cab, not the whole comm manager? I don't particularly want a new comm manager, but would like the app itself. Unfortunately, the cab in the OP just almost instantly goes to saying that the installation was unsuccessful (on stock rom). Is that my issue, or something else?

i believe others have failed with the oem rom as well. no issues on a flashed rom tho on my end. i just wish the screen would turn off.

This thread got me interested in the whole wifi thing and I just ended up buying WMWifiRouter. Best 30 bucks I have spent in a long time...

keeps on asking me to set up an internet connection -- it worked once after a hard reset - then it stopped

any ideas?

I have this software too and found out myself that three radios needs to be on; your data connection, the wifi itself and the wifi router software. Wondering if the cook could include another .cab that when you turn on wifi router software with comm manager it turns on all three radios instead turning one on at a time for instant on/off

when i turn on wifi router connection sharing my wifi turns on as well so i am not sure why it wouldn't for you.
