Program to automatically silence phone at night

Does anyone know of a program that will silence the phone automatically at night so I don't get disturbed by spam messages and texts will trying to sleep, and can turn the sound back on automatically in the morning?

I was using spb phone suite to do it, but really don't need that much of a program now that I am using the new mobile shell on my Sprint Touch.

Thanks!!!

Mike

Re: Program to automatically silence phone at night

I use phone suite along with MS 3 I like to have a lot of profile switching going on for certain points in my day. So it works for me, I see you don't want all that stuff, so here is what I did before phone suite...

I would set a recurring appt to happen from 1030pm, until 630 am and set it to "busy" that way all sounds will be silent during that appt. every night.

Other than that I dont know of a profile switcher other than suite.

PhoneAlarm is an oldie but a goodie for setting profiles for controlling the alarms you get by time of day or even location using GPS. I used to always forget to silence my phone when I was at work or sleeping but PA profiles took care of that.

Greetingd. I use an app called CT scheduler. It allows you to schedule certain phone functions. Like setting wifi to turn on or off at your chosenspecific times. You can also schedule softresets, volume changes, bluetooth on and off, send a sms, and turn a program on or off. Its not free, costs something like $10, but its worth every penny imo.

set your phone so the end call button turns your phone to vib or ring. press and hold it when you go to bed....press and hold it when you wake up easy and no need to install anything.

LOL...that takes effort and thought. When I go to sleep, I am so tired I usually forget to set my alarm!
Thanks for the above suggestions. I will look into them.

Set a reccuring appointment for every day from the time you go to bed to when you wake up and then leave your phone in "Automatic" profile permanently.

PocketMax Phone Alarm here. Great for switching profiles at whatever time frame you need.

Re: Program to automatically silence phone at night

G-Alarm gives you a function to make your phone go into airplane mode during the night. It now is a paid app, but there is a free version floating around that still has this functionality.
