Ya I understand, I had that same app, prob a different version that was junk, and their site said it was discontinued. My bad. Thanks.

Re: WANTED: TV Guide APP!

Just another option although it cost $20.00/year. Program I have been using for years is PocketTV. Program is free but you have to subscribe to the listing service, SchedulesDirect for $20.00/year. It's not flashy but you can create favorites and look at a glance which shows you are following are on today or the next day, etc. You download listings every few days (14 days at a time) so when you want to see what's on it's extremely fast - you are just pulling from the database. Records can be put on storage card so it's not using precious RAM. Also can search by anything to look for something you want to see. You can completely customize which channels you download and then you can create groups within the program itself. There is also a free tweaker that will allow you to show air dates so you know which programs are reruns. Program is fast, fast, fast - but $20.00/year. I have quite a bit of software but this is my only subscription. I think you can get a free trial from SchedulesDirect and setup can be a little tricky, but once done, you're done. Anyway, just something else to try.

That's exactly what I use.

I first started to use PocketTV Browser years ago on my Palm OS. Back then, the subscription was free, but I guess too many commercial users abused the TOS so it was discontinued. SchedulesDirect is basically a "grass roots" effort to fill that void, and the $20/year is really intended to just cover their costs in running it. Because of that, I don't mind paying the $20.

When I got my TP, I switch to the Windows Mobile version of PocketTV Browser. Mostly due to the comfort of continuing to use an app that I familiar and pleased with.
