Re: Any S2U2 alternatives?

A simple slide lock is part of WM 6.5. Sounds exactly like what you're looking for.

If it's WM6.5 you have, Click on START, then it's the left Softkey at the bottom

So, are there any alternatives? I don't need anything fancy, I just need a lock... I don't want a password or anything, just something that locks the screen while it's in my pocket..

Thanks!

oldman and I are checking into alternatives. The issues with my 2.3 ROMS can definitely be traced back to S2U2.

Yeah, I knew about that method, but I really like having it auto lock when I "put 'er to sleep!" lol...

So far PocketShield has been hands down amazing... Maybe cook the trial in, I have yet to see the 10 second nag and I use my phone A LOT...

Just a thought.

If you are not using Long Press End for anything, this can be used for the WinMo 6.5 lock as well. Not quite as quick as just hitting the power button to turn-off the screen, but still pretty effective.

I recently jumped from S2u2 to SensorLock and to PocketShield. SensorLock worked really well, it was just a bit annoying when you're in a hurry.

PocketShield seems to be quicker to respond and seems to take a LITTLE bit less resources to run. I am going to put it through the hoops for the next week or so before I decide if it's worth buying. After 48hrs, only seen the 10second "buy me!" delay 1 time.
