If my diamond were able to recognize an external hard drive (small one like a flash thumb drive) for lack of having a sd card, I could load a couple of movies on my thumb drive and watch them from it.

My guess is it would need a driver and I don't know how to get around the thumb drive drawing power either.

I bought an usb adapter, but the phone does not recognize any external drive. I even hooked up my archos to it, and neither the archos nor the phone knew there were connectd.

Had to try....
