Iris Mobile Browser v1.1.8 is out!!!

Look i know skyfire has an update out as of two or three days ago. But iris does to and this version is way better than its predecessors. Its plays flash videos as does skyfire and has tabbed browsing done pretty well(meaning u control when tabs are opened and viewing your tabbed pages is done cover flow style!) its pretty fast and opening and closing it is fast as well. Try it out!!!

Re: Iris Mobile Browser v1.1.8 is out!!!

i sent them a email a while ago and they said that they will add real full screen mode and a new interface for 1.2 build release, but they have no date for that release so im waiting for that one. besides that, its prolly one of the best browsers out there for WM. Gotta love webkit

PS. its .2 builds away woohoo!!

I agree that exactly why im trying to spread the word. I like skyfire but its unreliable sometimes and laggy too.

Re: Iris Mobile Browser v1.1.8 is out!!!

i hate how it looks on VGA so its whatever for me... plus im not a big fan of skyfire...

Opera is prolly the best one out now but, if i can stomach the ugliness of the interface and controls of iris i like it better than opera lol im dying to see what the new look will be... thats what it needs to be basically perfect!! (oh and zoom controls too)

Blame that one on Adobe for not providing Windows Mobile a decent flash player, skyfire can do it as they can render it server side.

But, Flash 10 for WM is supposed to come out later this year which will support what you are talking about.
