I think I'm using the attached cab, although I can't remember where I got it. Also, not sure what, if any, dll patch I'm using. All I know is I don't have one in the folder I use for reinstallations, sorry. Of course, there's always the possibility that the source for your weather data is down or has changed. If so, I have no expertise in solving that, but there certainly may be info about it here or elsewhere. Please keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks for your reply. what i found out is if my mobile is connected to my computer via activesync the diagnostics of weatherpanel show me

Connection Test: Connected [2]
Cache Connection: FALSE
Connection: SUCCESS
Auth: UBETCHA

Update is working

if I am using the Diagnostics "Standalone" without connecting the phone to my computer the following appears ...
Connection Test: Connected [2]
Cache Connection: FALSE
Connection: SUCCESS
Auth: FAIL

Nothing works.

Isn't that strange??
Any ideas?

JOEBLOW: thank you. i'll try your CAB-File this weekend. it is qite difficult to remove weatherpanel completly cause some registry-settings remain so i have to delete them by hand ...

Update
There were two different problems:

First there was a malconfiguration on my mobile that it could not start an internet connection. but the main problem was, that i first installed weather panel direct on my mobile. then caused by large radar images i had to remove it und reinstall it on the memory card of my mobile. but the software did not remove completly from the registry. so it allways looked for some parts of the program in the wrong path. after i modified the registry by hand with the right paths of my memory card everything worked fine.

Guys,
I need your help..My weatherpanel application suddenly has been stopped updating since August 2012.When i Ran Diagnostics auth is coming "fail".I have checked everywhere..but still i m getting the same error for this version(installed from 1st page).when i tried the weatherpanel trial version, auth is success but getting message that no data is available for your city.

Could you please let me know is your weatherpanel application working or not??i hope some of you people are still using windows mobile.waiting for your response.Thanks..

It worked fine for some time now, but for the last couple of days I am getting the Auth:FAIL massage again...

Any thoughts?
