i get an error everytime i try to cpoy in the new.dll file

Try this:

• Uncheck WeatherPanel in your Today settings
• Soft-reset
• Copy the DLL
• Re-check WeatherPanel in your Today settings

yeah i already had it uninstalled even.. i run it off 2ndToday... i had already soft rest, and TC overwrote the existing no probs.. set up my city and images,loaded my icons and themes... POW! like it was never gone...

i gave ya a thanks anyways cuz alot of wp period youve helped with it soundslike right?

i knew there was a reason a brag about PPCG to EVERYONE!!!!

How? Can anybody else confirm this as well? As far as I see its only requesting half of the time it used to. !0 day is now 5 day and the hourly update is only 12 hours instead of 24. My issue is whether we can get the complete updates back to normal bcuz I really used the 24 hour hourly graph to schedule my day around upcoming rain and such. If its possible I would want that back.

Downloaded and transferred the .CAB file to my phone where I installed it as directed. I had not had this program in my phone previously. Sadly it will not work for me. Stops @ the "choose language" screen and goes no farther giving me no icons to accept English or much anything else. I am using an HTC Shadow 2009. Help me please!?!

If weather.com were to change their feed in the future, would it be possible to change feed providers? Since people were able to hack the dll and add an authentication ID to it, couldn't the dll be hacked to request the data from say the Weather Underground or Weather Bug?

Just a thought...but what do I know. ;)

I don't think you would "hack" it, but rather build an interface layer that would convert an alternate source to the format that weatherpanel expects.

It would be an extention of the current fix.

One note - most of the weather data providers have TOS similar to TWC..
