I haven't noticed anything wrong with mine either. I have noticed a quicker battery drain though. Is that the problem?

I'm getting a weird error recently and was wondering if anyone else has seen it. I'm not even sure it is WP related, but the only thing I've changed on my phone in the last few weeks is updating the WP cab because of the weather.com issues we were having.

The error says "MITsMAN: Keypad Callback EXCEPTION!!!!" It happened last night and then again this morning. My phone makes an odd sound and I notice it has gone into flight mode. It then becomes unresponsive. The screen still rotates, but I can't get it unlocked (S2U2). I end up having to reset it. I do not get the MITsMAN error every time, though. Usually the phone locks up and I can't do anything, so I can't even see the error each time.

I searched and can't find anything about this. Has anyone else encountered it or know what it means? What is MITsMAN?

It seems to be happening overnight, but not through the day. I'm not sure what exactly is happening overnight to cause the error, but it is definitely something happening overnight. And, the problem doesn't arise until I hit a button to wake the phone, then I get the odd phone sound and it goes into sleep mode. Doesn't matter if it is 6:00 am and I am thinking I've overslept or if it is 2:00 am and I'm checking the time. Seems like any time I try and wake the phone after midnight I get this error.

Does weatherpanel do anything at midnight that might be causing this? I know not long ago they had to change some of the programming in WP because it would get stuck in a loop because of the way weather.com was blocking the weather information. Is there a WP function that runs at midnight?

hi, i am fairly new to this app, its a great app tho... i am running it on an omnia, and everything is fine when i have it connected to my laptop, but it will not update if not connected, i have tried completly uninstalling and removing all files, then reinstalling the new versions in this thread, i have tried manually changing the dll but nothing seems to work, i still get the auth fail in the diag screen ?? am i missing a trick ?

WeatherPanel Weirdness
 

Yesterday I suddenly was not able to use WeatherPanel. No forecasts would download. I checked the files on my SD card and found that the Data folder was totally empty. The program files all seemed to be there. I finally uninstalled WP completely and did a reinstall. Everything is working again.

I would appreciate any opinions on the cause of this problem. I suspect that the SD card failed, but am not totally convinced because no other app installed on the card has failed and only WP Data seemed to be gone. Anyone else have something like this happen?

Mine did same thing yesterday. We had bad weather and would freeze. I cheched settings and it showed failed in test. Around 5pm it started working again.

mine still will not work unless plugged into the laptop ??

The most common cause (that I know of) is an internet proxy on your cell carrier's network.

What are your connection settings in WeatherPanel, and who is your carrier?
