So much for that thought. I ended up having to help the wife with car shopping on Saturday and much of Sunday until I got sick and ended up going to bed at 6pm. Once I win the battle for the computer, I should have something soon. Any day now. Sorry for the long delay.

EDIT: Instead of making a new post, I'm just updating this one to say that I finally got to use my computer. So I'm making progress. I may post a basic timer with basic functions and graphics... well, seeing as how I have missed my previous targets, I'll just say as soon as I can :)

Does anyone know of a good Poker Timer App for their PC/Laptop? I havent been able to find a good one. Feel free to PM me.

FYI - I am trying to write this in such a way that I can easily port to a windows desktop app. If this is something more of you might be interested in, I can make it a higher priority. Getting the WiMo version out first is my focus, but I am trying to make it modular enough to make for a quick desktop port. I may even try to make a web version - but I don't have an MS host available to me right now.

Sorry for the slow progress. Between the volunteer weekend, dad and my step brother staying at my place for 2 weeks, and getting my house painted, I've been pretty busy. I am getting closer though.

The preview should have the following features:
- Set round time, break time, and rounds between break.
- Set blinds and ante for each round.
- Above selections will be persisted (saved to device).

It won't be "pretty", but once it's done, I'm thinking of focusing on skinning. Does anyone have a preference as to a priority between skinning and storing chip values?

My preference is functionality over form, but that's just me...

When you move on to web-ifying this maybe we can talk. I can host the app, at least in it's trial state anyway, for your testing.

Sorry about that. I have it done to the point of a UI for the blinds configuration. I've been distracted by Windows 7, vacation and playing a new game. Work has also been a lot more hectic lately. And after I said it'll be out soon a few times and failed on those promises, I thought everyone had found other timers.

I thought that .NET Compact Framework (CF) would have a feature to make it easy to work with some things as they do within the desktop version. But it turns out they really strip out a whole lot of functionality from the CF. Things I take for granted such as a save/load dialog window. They have one, but it doesn't support storage cards. And with many people on here flashing their ROM so often, it's not worth using. So that had to be thrown to the back burner. But the data persistance of configurations will exist, so it won't be too far until it's polished.

So all that is really a necessity for first release is the the blinds UI. Then I also need to go through the whole build process. I'll do my best to work on it throughout the week.
