Seems to work a bit faster on my phone. I finally figured out how to get opera mini to work for me. I used the following on my sprint touch:

paste method = control-v
open url method = #1
auto complete address = off
change ime keyboard drive = no

I use touchpal pro as my keyboard

seems to work fine from a url in email the few times Ive tested it so far.
