Signal Power Level
I am a RF engineer and like dealing with dBm power units and not signal levels bars. Has anyone seen a program that will display my signal level in dBm like fieldtest does but on my today screen? It does not have to eliminate the signal bars, if can be added elsewhere on the screen.

I'd be interested in something like this too.
I'm not an RF Engineer or anything like that, but would have fun playin around with it and seeing what dBm is in certain areas. So +1 to this!

I have seen similar software for a BB so I know someone in WM land can do it.

This sounds like a cool idea. I wondered about something similar to this a while ago. On my today screen I still use the Homescreen ++ plug in that will give you signal strength in percentage if you click on the cpu usage indicator but it usually displays fixed values like 28%, 38%, and so on.

I know it depends on your network. Sprint has ##codes that reveal info like you ask

Something like \windows\fieldtrial.exe ???
Rx Power : -78 dbm Rc Ec/Io : 16 db That displays live info, but not sure where it get's it from...

Kinda on the same note, I would be interested in an app that would come in useful for wifi channel selection...a 2.4ghz wavelength analyzer...to see which channels have the least amount of "noise" or interference...ya know, to select the best channel for my wireless modem...if its off topic too much, let me know and I'll make a post for it
