They give you the option to send the experimental phone plug in directly to your phone.
I suppose if you just want to install the firefox plugin, your number is unnecessary.

This shows them viewing a YouTube video via Windows Media player. Anyone try this?

the problem with joey is that you need to control all of this from the desktop... a better system would be to do something like Deepfish... or even let your home system do the processing for it... that way no matter what weird flash or java script nonsense is going on you can see a perfect image of the screen.
And the sending of video to the joey server should something you can do anywhere. I still think Orb is a better solution then this thing because not only does it let me do youtube pretty easily but I can also access all the videos on my home system from anywhere with an internet connection.
