Opera Mobile 9.7 beta discussion?

i tried searching but the search wont allow "9.7" as a keyword, is there an ongoing discussion about the new opera mobile? i want to test it out but i want the latest version, where can i find it?

ok so i got it, ran it for the first time, turned on turbo and wow its pretty cool, except it makes all the images on a webpage tiny and SUPER ugly, is there anyway to run turbo with high quality images? if i turn turbo off it will display right but takes a while to load large webpages

No, that's the entire purpose of Turbo it compress the webpages so it loads quicker so it compresses the images as well.

Well I'm glad there's a discussion here. I can't get the zoom feature to work. I have a Touch Pro, and I can no longer run my finger around the "OK" button to zoom in and out. Is there a reg setting somewhere?

I'm using a Silence ROM.

If I remember correctly even in the beta versions of 9.5 you couldn't do that either. Now the versions that were made for HTC devices (including the ones that were shipped on our devices) you can. so my thinking is when Opera starts making versions of 9.7 for HTC devices the zoom will work.

Actually guys, I have the TP as well and I use the scroll ring to zoom...even when I tried the 9.7 the zoom worked....sometimes though, when it didn't work, if used the "up" button of the 4 way around the scroll wheel, then used the scroll wheel itself it would zoom

have u guys tried tapping the screen twice to zoom in? that always works in almost any pocket browser
