Question Full backup solutions

Is there a way to essentially take a bit for bit backup of my phone? I was wondering if this existed so that I could restore my phone if I flashed a ROM I didn't like. I am in IT and I know these solutions exist for HardDrives and such - I was just curious!

thank you,
-Luke

Re: Full backup solutions

I hit the "Thanks" button for ya. I'll try Sprite, but I'm not a huge fan of SPB.

Re: Full backup solutions

Just my 2 cents on sprite back up. While being a wonderful back up solution, i need to point out that newer versions of the software, are a pain in the butt to remove from your device. A seperate removal file needs to be run to uninstall, and it doesnt necessarily work on some current builds of sprite.

Re: Full backup solutions

i prefer SPB Backup, over Sprite, have been using SPB for a couple of years now, never had an issue.

Re: Full backup solutions

I just took a full backup with Sprite - but the exe was only 40 megs meaning it's not exactly a full backup. You must have to flash the desired ROM and then run the exe?

Re: Full backup solutions

I use the paid release of Sprite Backup. The size if the file is about 63-64mb and I DO NOT back everything up (i.e., noise files, pictures are not backed up).
