I know what you mean about using DashWire for texting on the PC, I did as well (and may again, I'll see) there is another out there I haven't used in a bit that I think was better on battery: https://beta.flexilis.com/
Thanks for the explanation. So, all the programs I install to "Device" shows up in "Storage Memory"? If I add a new contact, it'll take up "Storage Memory? "Program Memory" is simply memory that lets programs run, like RAM on Windows boxes.

I might try Flexilis. I hope it works. The texting from my desk is awesome because I don't like using the phone for texting when I'm working at a computer desk all day.

You got it, but contacts take up minimal memory, so that isn't really anything worth worrying about!

Aside from the battery drain, I think it is a great idea as well, I may look into starting it up again!!!

Infact I want to integrate it with open source PBX systems to do some kind of click to dial functionality. Much like how Dashwire invokes Skype on your PC to make the call.

I just tried flixilis again, and it doesn't support PC texting yet. They have been working on it, so I guess we can hope for something soom. I am going to try out DashWire again. I'll let you know if I see anything else, or more word out of Flexilis.

Haha, good timing.. I was just about to install Flexilis. I wonder if MyPhone has any of this? It would be great if someone makes a software like Dashwire that also does email pushing like Seven does to minimize running of apps and save on battery.
