need help with sms in my pocket pc

hi my device is Asus 525
i need help because unknowingly i havent deleted my sent sms messages for months! it is now 12,000 messages and everytime i delete up to 4,000, then i also deleted my deleted items, then i restarted my phone, it came back to 12,000!

then i tried to access my file explorer --> my device --> windows --> messages --> it takes so long to open until it hangs! even when i explore it in my laptop, its also the same, takes so long to open

now everytime i open my file explorer in my pocketpc, it always tries to open messages folder that will probably take a million years

i need help, is there a software that i can access my pocket pc messages in my laptop so i can delete them there? or is there another way?

My suggestion would be to just wait it out or delete a little bit at a time. One reason it's jumping back up to 12,000 is probably because you have more messages than that but it only shows 12,000.

at last i opened the messaging folder under windows folder of my device. it has thousands of files that i deleted (not knowing what it is, but may be it will help)

after deleting them, i was hoping that back in my phone, my sent messages number will decrease, unfortunately NO

so i will try to delete it again and again as SEANOSAUR said, i hope its just that

lol as much as I flash I would hard reset and restore...screw all that other stuff. Bye bye text messages
