cody, quickmenu has some built in shortcuts (options-command; can place them anywhere) that make some tasks easier. not to mention 2.8 has wifi toggle now.

I don't use wifi. lol.
I don't even like using bluetooth
(I've looked into bluejacking too much, and don't like any bluetooth stuff)
But I'll have to check it out then,
but doesn't it change the start menu back to 6.1 start menu?

Updated post#1 with new version:

Version 1.2:
+ configuration export to/import from xml file (Menu -> Config -> Save/Load)
+ window exceptions list (Menu -> Window exceptions list) - driver will not remap particular key in case foreground window class is in this list
+ added Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Win key modifiers to emulate key press action
+ added APP1-APP6 key codes to list in emulate key press action - see above how to use them and how to add new button to list in Buttons applet
+ press & hold - long press action is performed after specified interval, no more need to release a key (the same is for double click too)
+ power management action (screen on/off, suspend device, reset device)
+ screen rotation action
+ BT on/off action
+ Wi-Fi on/off action
+ terminate data connection action
+ added 'vibrate on action' setting - device will vibrate at the moment when action is performed
* improved window selection dialog, now it has a Catch button for those whose stylus sensor is broken
* close window action works as ok/close now
* rewrote send text action - now it has two methods of text send (via paste and via key emulation) and supports control characters; if one method doesn't work for you use another
* fixed issue described in this post - now if some key has double click action and you actually perform single click, then immediately press another key, single click action of first one will be performed before the last pressed key action - thus both events will be performed in the correct sequence
* some dialogs fixes
* probably fixed bug when keyboard stops working in rare cases, at least i did all to avoid this
* optimized performance, works better than 1.1

Do you think, this programm could be easily transfered for use with HTC Diamond I?
The keypad.dll should be identical - think the hardware keypad is the same.

But the programm currently doesn´t run with Diamond I.
Maybe because of the additional integrated keyboard patch.

Do you think this will be run?
- patch keypad.dll on raphael with this tool ("Home button" to "Start button")
- then transfer the patched keypad.dll from raphael to diamond

If someone have an idea how I will be able to do this on diamond.
Maybe I can patch my keypad.dll on diamond by myself.
What I have to change in dll to make "Home button" to "Start button"?
I think you know this... think your proramm will do "just" this in an UI comfortable way.

Most likely - no, because these devices have different hardware and different drivers
but you can try and say us whether this driver works on diamond you can uninstall it if no luck

Strangest thing happened with this app. I had been using it with no issues for over a month. But when i flashed to dcds 2.05 rom, having the back arrow button mapped to turn on/off wifi, it kills wifi. ??? I mean my TP can see the router, but its not getting a data signal. After many hardresets, and testing after installing apps one by one, its 100% the cause. Not a huge deal, still love the app, but does anyone know how or why this happened? I just dont understand how remapping a button to turn on or off wifi could cause the phone to not get data from the wifi signal. thx

I only use wifi for navizon, so I can't confirm.
however there have been some updates in the last week. 8-28 1.3.2

hmm, has anyone noticed an issue with the Home button? sometimes it triggers the Talk button which is bad on double tap=auto call... grrr.

it doesn't seem to matter what mapping I have, just the fact it's mapped.
also seems to be related somehow to data connection/activity.
